Interview with fashion bloggers from NYC

I did an interview with David and Erica, a Wardrobe Styling duo, who are also fashion bloggers from the blog http://lpfashionphilosophy.blogspot.com/ . I admire their blog, because it's very unique that it's about two people and I love how they match their outfits. It's so awesome :). I also love bloggers from New York, because I wanna move there some day and the style of that city is superb.

Here's the interview:

1)    Why did you start blogging?

As wardrobe stylists working on set and styling models and musicians, we are always meeting other industry professionals. Often times, people would compliment us on what we were wearing ourselves. So we decided to start the blog and use it as an outlet. Not only to help promote what we do professionally, but to make ourselves more approachable and accessible and really just connect with the fashion community in a different way.

2)    What motivates you to keep blogging?

We really enjoy blogging because it allows us to not only have fun, but grow with our personal style. We can be playful and discover new ways to dress ourselves, and our future clients! Blogging has also proven to be an amazing outlet and we have met, conversed, and even worked with so many awesome people through blogging.

Day trip to Africa

So yesterday we visited Tangier, Morocco. In the morning we drove 100 km to Tarifa. Tarifa´s like the windiest spot in Europe and the wind fas enormous. We were about to buy the ferry tickets, when we discovered that we only had four passports with us. My baby brother's was missing. So we thought that was it and were all depressed, Anu even cried. But then my dad thought of a solution - my step mom and the baby stayed in Tarifa at a hotel and we went to Africa with my dad and Anu. The ferry ride was 45 minutes long from Tarifa to Tangier, like in the Coelho book The Alchemist:). On the ship we saw an Estonian! He worked on the ferry and told us that surprisingly many Estonians work on the ferries from Spain to Morocco.
We reached Tangier at 1 pm local time. At the port many many people came to offer us stuff like taxi rides and tour guides and so on. They were all fake trying to rob tourists. There were so many people around us during the whole day. They were whistling and offering stuff and so on. Bothering. It was very warm and sunny in the city. I only wore a light blouse and a maxi skirt and I was hot. I felt that I wasn't in Europe anymore. It had an African vibe and feeling. Also it smelled differently. We tried to go to a restaurant my dad had picked out from tripadvisor, but we couldn't find it and even got lost. We were in a very dubious neighborhood with narrow streets and local people trying to sell us stuff. Finally we went back to a more normal area and found an OK restaurant to eat at. I ate cous cous with vegetables and it was very delicious, but the portion was huge Afterwards we bought a whole kilo ofsweets at a little pastry shop. They are delicious, but I found a little wormy inside my pastry and Anu was very scared.
In the evening we sailed back to Spain on a ferry that used to ride from Tallinn to Helsinki. This is the same ship that took me abroad for the first time in my life when I was 5 months old. My dad remembered it and I've seen the pictures:) Yesterday to Morocco I decided to wear a maxi skirt, because it's an Islamic country and all the locals wear long costumes. I matched my military colored skirt with a light white blouse, studded leather jacket(which I didn't wear most of the time), studded bag, round sunglasses and some golden jewelry. All in all it was an exciting and adventurous day trip. I would not want to do it again, but it was a nice experience. I'm glad it's done. Today is our last full day here in Spain, we're going back to Estonia through London tomorrow night. :(

Spain post #3

Hi everyone! The last few days have been interesting. On Monday the weather got really really warm and sunny. It was even 28C degrees at some point. We even got to sunbathe a little bit by the pool, but it was too windy, so we didn't stay for long.
On Monday I finally wore some brighter colors - a yellow top. I matched it with with tight black pants, denim jacket and aviator sunglasses.
Yesterday we rented a car. We drove 200 km to Granada to see a Moorish palace, but it was raining cats and dogs, so we decided not to go inside. We looked at pictures in a souvenir shop instead. We didn't see the city of Granada either, because we couldn't find the city center and decided to go back to Marbella. So we basically drove 400 km for nothing.
Today was a very great day. My mom recommended us this nice little city in the mountains called Ronda. It is 70 km from Marbella. The road was in the mountains so it was really really hard and when we finally reached the city, then it was very cold. We walked around a little bit and visited a bull fighting arena, which was very impressive. I have a lot of pictures of the arena. Afterwards we saw the main attraction of Ronda - the AMAZING views. There were these really tall bridges and many mountains. You'll get it when you see the pictures.
Today I wore vertical stripes again, but this time a striped top with denim jacket, leather skirt, studded bag and round sunglasses.
Maybe we're going to Tangiers, Morocco, AFRICA tomorrow! I'm super excited and already want to post about it:)

Getting to know Marbella

Hey guys! It´s our fourth day here in Marbella, Spain. Yesterday and today the weather hasn´t been very good. It´s cloudy and rainy. Fortunately it´s quite warm: 18C-20C degrees. Yesterday we decided to spend the whole day shopping at a huge shopping center near Marbella called La Cañada. I bought some awesome stuff and I´m wearing some of it today. Yesterday I wore a purple leather jacket and matched it with white pants, white sneakers, black studded bag and a black top with little jewels. I also painted my lips pink to make the outfit a bit more interesting. I bought a new phone case too and it matched my outfit very well. Today we woke up late nd went to find something to do. It´s Sunday so most restaurants and shops are closed. We ate breakfast at an excellent bakery and afterwards walked around the city a little bit. Visited the local church and reached some parts of the old town we hadn´t seen before. Today I´m wearing my new black studded leather jacket with new vertically striped pants, brown top, brown bag and some golden jewelry(including my watch and an awesome studded bracelet). I have some pictures of the city, my outfits and some awesome desserts I´ve eaten lately(New York style cheesecake at Block House, a chocolate napoletana with coffee and macaroons at the little bakery.

First days in Spain

Hiii!! On Wednesday we travelled to Spain. Our first flight was from Tallinn to Brussels at 7:10 am. Then we had to wait in Brussels for 3 hours. We drank morning coffee at Starbucks (we don't have Starbucks in Estonia so I'm always very excited about that).
At around three o'clock we were in Malaga, Spain. Then we thought we would take a taxi to Marbella, but there were five of us(including my baby brother) so we didn't fit into one taxi. We had to wait for a bus.
By 4 pm we had reached Marbella. The weather wasn't very warm, around 15C degrees with very cold wind. I hadn't eaten anything since the morning so I was very very hungry and we went to this really good little pincho bar and I ate 'till I couldn't even walk.It was a long and hard day.
Yesterday we woke up quite early because of the baby and went to find some place to have breakfast at. We found a nice little bar on a sunny plaza. It was so nice and warm in the sunlight. After breakfast we decided to walk 3 km to a big supermarket, but it turned out it was 6 km away. So we walked about 3 km and were all exhausted so we decided to take the bus. When we finally reached El Corte Inglès in Puerto Banùs then we did some shopping and I bought some things I'm gonna wear on this trip too.
I planned on wearing colorful and summery clothes here, but yesterday I just couldn't resist my super comfortable cargo pants. I wore them with a simple top, little black jacket, nude colored flats, studded bag, round sunglasses, a scarf and some jewelry. I decided to put my hair up in a bun, because I thought it was gonna be very windy yesterday too, although it really wasn't.
Today we just walked on the beach promenade the whole day and then afterwards in the old town and so on.
Today I wore a maxi skirt with my DIY men's t-shirt, denim jacket, white sneakers, studded bag and some jewelry.

Fashion Is Back In Tallinn a.k.a. FIBIT

So I promised you a big post about this fashion event in Tallinn called FIBIT(Fashion Is Back In Tallinn)
I'm sick at home today, so I have lots of time. I'm going to Spain the day after tomorrow and I'm sick, so I hope I'll get better quickly, but I guess I can't do any fashion posts until Spain, but my travel posts are gonna be legendary!!:)
Now about this event. There were four collections: Kätlin Kaljuvee, Xenia Joost, Tiina Talumees and QooQoo. The event was two days long, but all the catwalks were at three different times. I visited it on both days and saw every show twice.
It's actually not the best fashion event, it's too mainstream and the level is not very high. But I still visited it to do a post about it on my blog.

New layout!!

Hey everyone!
As you can see, my blog has a NEW LAYOUT!! I wanted something lighter and more open. I also like this minimalist template. How do you like it? I think it looks so much better than the old one. I'm also making my blog a domain soon, so removing the blogspot from the address!
Yesterday and today I visited a fashion event in Tallinn called FIBIT(Fashion Is Back In Tallinn). I'm doing a big post about it tomorrow, I don't have that much time today.
Today I wanted to take pictures for my new layout and  so I decided to wear my favorite sweater with holes in the sleeves. I wore it over a yellow dress with a big zipper. Also black studded bag and boots. I accessorized the outfit with golden earrings, watch and a nice tiger necklace. I have a lot of pictures today, because we wanted the perfect picture for the design.

The End of Winter Season

Hi guys!
My mom's family went back to Italy. In the morning the drove on the great highways of Germany with my mom's BMW and now they've just reached Italy and are drinking cappuccinos and eating paninis. Without me. Oh, how I wish I was there with them. Fortunately we're going on our trip to Spain in exactly one week!!
I want to talk about the weather in Estonia. There was a big snow storm this weekend and there was A LOT of snow and then in the beginning of the week it started getting warmer and the snow started melting. Today's it's over 2C degrees and very sunny, I guess maybe spring is finally coming. Yayy!!!:)
The weather is changing and that means that fashion is also changing. It's the last time to wear the winter's trends because it's almost time for new fresh spring trends. So today I decided to wear some of my winter trends for maybe the last time. I wore a sweater with a bat picture on it, dark red pants, a chain necklace, studded black boots and a huge ring. Animal sweaters were very very popular this past winter season. Especially sweaters with tiger pictures. They look super cute with just a pair of jeans of leather skirts or something like that. Also this dark red color was very in fashion and chain necklaces which I've already talked about. Today we took the pictures in our garage which is in the basement. I also posed with some tires:))

2 nights, 2 events, same dress

Hey! So it's the weekend:). It's the busiest weekend I've had for a while.
Friday night we went to the Estonian National Opera house called Estonia with my class. We went to see a Puccini opera called "Manon Lescaut". I really liked the music, but the staging was a little bit too small and poor. It was also a little bit too long(3 hours), could've been much shorter.
Yesterday and also on Friday I interviewed 2 people for this creative work project at school. We all have to do something creative and then present it. I'm talking about my blog and also interviewing 4 people about fashion. Then I'm gonna put together a little video and also post it on the blog. I think it's gonna be ready in the beginning of May.
And yesterday we went to the Estonian song contest, where we chose our song for Eurovision. We have always been a little bit obsessed with Eurovision with Anu. I really don't know why, because the songs are actually really really bad:D. But this year we decided to go see it live. I was super excited:). We chose the worst song. But there wasn't any potential either. But I hate the winner and she was wearing a dress which looked like a night gown. So don't vote for Estonia this year:D
Is it a crime to wear the same dress two nights in a row? I usually try not to wear clothes so often, but this time I decided to do that, because it is possible to wear the same dress, but two completely different outfits. So I wore the same asymmetrical Bershka dress to the opera and also to the song contest.
Day 1: To the national opera I decided to make the dress a little bit more formal, but still fresh and colorful. I wore the dress with an electric blue blazer, a bright yellow bag and high heeled boots. I accessorized the outfit with black and silver bracelets and my favorite big black glam earrings.
Day 2: Yesterday I went a little hipster. I wore big hipster glasses and an oversized darker blue cardigan with the dress. Also my studded boots, studded bag, big golden earrings and golden ring and watch.
